The Above Baltic Portal
Details
Acryl, canvas 60 x 80 cm
Creation
29 January 2024, Jurmala, Latvia
Current location
Private collection, Latvia
Arriving at Riga at the end of January by air opens a sober picture of the coastal line and the coldish sea.
The colours I bought after arrival were just about to express the quiet Baltic energies.
Latvia is my birth country so I symbolically released my first portal to the streets here :)
The Portal was released in the Jomas street, Jurmala, Latvia on 31 January, 2024 and was picked the same day.
Artworks demand investments into materials: paints, canvas, brushes, varnish.
Not to mention the artist's efforts.
